He also started the Elbuntu distro, based on the official Ubuntu but using Enlightenment as the window manager. Looking at the debian packages, they're from the latest stable tarballs released. Ubuntu may include the debian packages in its next cycle. IMHO, one thing that E needs is a clearer roadmap and more often releases of its libraries. If you maintain a distro you won't really want to rely on SVN. I'm talking to the debian and ubuntu guys on IRC and by mail to see how I can help them.
